The College encourages all individuals to seek assistance from a medical provider and law enforcement immediately after an incident of sexual misconduct when such assistance is desired or necessary under the circumstances, regardless of whether or not the individual plans to pursue criminal action. This is the best option to ensure preservation of evidence and to begin a timely response by law enforcement and/or the College. Complainants are strongly encouraged to take immediate steps to preserve all evidence that might support a future report to the College, 保护令, 或者是执法部门的调查.
