Phi Theta Kappa

Do you have an excellent academic record?

Phi Theta Kappa scholarships are awarded to outst和ing 继续教育 students who are transfer students pursuing their first bachelor's degree 和 are current members of the Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society. Award recipients must carry a minimum course load of eight semester hours 和 maintain a 3.在足球波胆平台时平均绩点为0. Awards are $1,000 per semester for four semesters 和 are merit-based.

Is there an age requirement for admission to Guilford's 继续教育 program?

是的. To qualify for 继续教育 courses at Guilford, you must either: 1) be 23 years old by the last day of the first term of enrollment; or 2) hold a baccalaureate degree from an approved academic institution.

How long does it take to graduate?

It depends on how many transfer credits you have 和 how many credits you complete per term.

Will Guilford accept transfer credit?

Our welcoming 和 fair transfer policy accepts an unlimited number of transfer credits from regionally accredited four-year schools 和 universities 和 up to 64 credits from regionally accredited two-year community colleges 和 technical colleges. We also accept up to 16 credits for military service 和 up to 16 credits for College Level Examination Program (CLEP) tests.

How many students are in each class?

On average, there are 14 students in each class.

How can I get involved on campus?

While the 继续教育 program is exclusively for students age 23 和 older, you are a valued community member. As such, we encourage you to participate 和 become an integral part of life at Guilford. Join the adult Student Government Association or attend a 戏剧研究 生产或 布莱恩系列 讲座, which has featured former President Bill Clinton 和 former British Prime Minister Tony Blair. You're always welcome to attend sporting events 和 show your school spirit by rooting for the Quakers!
